Jharkhand: Over 40 unclaimed bodies cremated at Jumar riverbank

Ranchi, Sep 20 (UNI) Forty-three unclaimed bodies kept at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) here were cremated collectively at the Jumar riverbank today by Mukti Sanstha. The bodies had remained at RIMS for a prolonged period as their identities could not be established or their relatives could not be traced, according to the organisation. Mukti Sanstha president Praveen Lohia performed the last rites, while members of the organisation completed the necessary procedures before the cremation.
