30 NIT-Rourkela researchers earn place among world's top 2 pc scientists

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8 (UNI) In a global recognition of its research strength, 29 faculty members and a research graduate of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela have secured places among the world's top 2% of scientists in a prestigious Stanford University-backed ranking. The list, prepared by Stanford professor John P. A. Ioannidis and his team identifies the world's top 100,000 scientists, as well as researchers ranking among the top 2 pc in their respective sub-fields, based on a composite indicator.
