Landslide disrupts train services in Rayagada division; several trains cancelled, short-terminated

Bhubaneswar, Oct 6 (UNI) Train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been disrupted following a landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations, prompting the cancellation and curtailment of several trains to facilitate restoration work and ensure passenger safety. According to ECoR sources, as a precautionary measure, several trains have been cancelled, while a number of services have been short-terminated or short-originated in view of the damage caused by the landslide. Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur-Rourkela Express will remain cancelled on October 9 and 13.
