ECoR clocks 120.76 MT freight loading in first half of FY 26 -27, registers 3.4 pc growth

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8 (UNI) East Coast Railway (ECoR) has recorded 120.76 million tonnes (MT) of freight loading during the first six months of the financial year 2026-27, registering a 3.4 per cent growth over the 116.78 MT loaded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. ECoR sources said the growth was achieved through sustained efforts to streamline freight operations, maintain efficient movement of goods and ensure continuity in loading activities across its divisions.
