BJD demands minister's ouster over 1,678 errors in school textbooks

Bhubaneswar, Sep 22 (UNI) The BJD's youth and student wings on Tuesday stepped up their protest over 1,678 errors detected in Class I-VIII textbooks, demanding the resignation of School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. Led by Biju Yuva Janata Dal president Chinmay Sahu and Biju Chhatra Janata Dal president Ipsita Sahu, hundreds of protesters staged a demonstration at Lower PMG here despite rain and launched a round-the-clock dharna near the Assembly.
