Odisha bandh rejected by people, BJP condemns alleged violence: Anil Biswal

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8 (UNI) The Odisha bandh called by the Congress and Left parties on Thursday failed to receive public support, with normal life remaining largely unaffected across the state, BJP state spokesperson Anil Biswal claimed. In a statement, Biswal said the response to the bandh showed that people had not endorsed the issues raised by the opposition parties. He, however, condemned the alleged violent behaviour of Congress and Left workers at some places, claiming that their actions created fear and inconvenience among the public.
