Jharkhand Congress to observe 'Save Democracy Week' from Oct 2

Ranchi, Oct 1 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee will observe 'Save Democracy Week' from October 2 to 8 and organise 'Save Vote-Save Nation' marches across all districts, the party said on Thursday. The campaign will be held on the directions of the All India Congress Committee and under the guidance of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh, state Congress media in-charge Rakesh Sinha said. He said district Congress committees would hold joint meetings and press conferences with alliance partners, followed by block-level meetings to mobilise party workers and citizens.
