Jharkhand Congress mobilises for November 1 rally on voting rights

Ranchi, Oct 27 (UNI) Jharkhand Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh on Tuesday said the party's November 1 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' rally at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi would be historic, accusing the BJP of undermining democracy and using constitutional institutions for political purposes. Addressing a press conference, Kamlesh said district in-charges and senior leaders were conducting awareness campaigns across Jharkhand to mobilise party workers and citizens. He alleged that lakhs of voters in Bihar and West Bengal had been deprived of their voting rights.
