Child help desks launched at all police stations in Bihar on Gandhi Jayanti

Patna, Oct 2 (UNI) Child help desks or child corners were initiated at all 1,373 police stations across Bihar on Friday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Official sources said here that the initiative has been undertaken in accordance with Section 8(5) of the Bihar Police Act, 2007, and the guidelines issued by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).
