93 pc vacancies in library staff posts: Orissa HC puts 14 public universities on notice

Bhubaneswar, Nov 5 (UNI) With 105 of 113 sanctioned library staff posts lying vacant across Odisha's State universities, the Orissa High Court has issued notices to the registrars of 14 institutions on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking urgent recruitment to address the staffing crisis. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Harish Tandon and Justice Chittaranjan Dash issued the notices during the preliminary hearing of the petition filed by advocate Prabir Kumar Das.
