Jharkhand HC fines Soren side Rs 10,000 for reply delay

Ranchi, Oct 1 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday imposed a cost of Rs 10,000 on the respondent side for seeking additional time to file a response in a petition challenging an FIR registered against Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Justice Anil Kumar Choudhary allowed the request for additional time but directed the respondent side to file its response within the stipulated period.
