Calcutta High Court takes no action in five cases against Nandigram Congress candidate

Kolkata, Sep 22 (UNI) The Calcutta High Court declined to issue any immediate direction in five other cases against Nandigram Congress candidate Milan Pradhan, while the state said no action would be taken against him in those cases for now. Pradhan is currently in judicial custody in two other cases. His lawyers are expected to move a bail application on Tuesday. The Haldia sub-divisional court had remanded him in custody until October 3, while the Contai court subsequently extended his judicial custody until October 5.
