Jharkhand: IIT-ISM conference focuses on future-ready mining roadmap

Dhanbad, Oct 3 (UNI) IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Saturday began a two-day international conference to deliberate on sustainable, technology-driven and safe mining towards the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision. The conference, organised by the Department of Mining Engineering, brings together policymakers, regulators, industry representatives, academicians, researchers, technology providers, mining professionals and students. The discussions focus on responsible mineral extraction, critical mineral security, decarbonisation, renewable energy integration, mine safety and productivity, and technology-led solutions for the mining sector.
