Jharkhand: TEXMiN, NITI Aayog join hands to strengthen critical minerals sector

Dhanbad, Oct 31 (UNI) TEXMiN at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and NITI Aayog have signed a Joint Statement of Intent to strengthen India's critical and strategic minerals ecosystem through research, policy support and technology development. The agreement was signed on October 31, 2026, to promote collaboration in research, data analytics, mineral resource mapping, policy advisory, knowledge generation and capacity building across the critical minerals value chain. The collaboration will cover exploration, processing, value addition and recycling of critical minerals, according to an official statement.
