Jharkhand: Radiology advances discussed at RIMS conclave

Ranchi, Oct 4 (UNI) Experts at the Jharkhand Musculo-Skeletal Imaging Conclave 2026 held at RIMS today discussed advances in radiology and imaging and their role in diagnosis and pain management. The conference was organised jointly by RIMS and the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, with radiologists from Jharkhand, Patna, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh participating in the event. RIMS Dean (Research) Dr P K Bhattacharya said radiology and imaging science could play an important role in pain management and cautioned against excessive reliance on painkillers, which he said could adversely affect the liver and kidneys.
