Bihar: Special campaign in flood-hit areas of Gopalganj to prevent infectious diseases

Gopalganj, Oct 6 (UNI) A special sanitation and health campaign is being carried out in flood-affected areas of Gopalganj district following a decline in the water level of the Gandak river, in accordance with directions issued by the Bihar government. According to the district administration, health and sanitation teams are regularly carrying out spraying of bleaching powder in villages affected by the floods. Continuous monitoring of sanitation arrangements is also being undertaken, while the deployment of health and sanitation teams has been maintained in the affected areas.
