Bihar: Gandak in spate as embankments breach in West Champaran, 4 engineering teams deployed

Patna, Sep 29 (UNI) The Gandak River has risen sharply in Bihar following heavy rainfall in the catchment areas of Nepal, creating a serious flood situation in several districts. The Bihar government has deployed four special teams of engineers from the Water Resources Department to intensify flood-fighting and restoration operations.
