Tripura remembers Vallabhbhai Patel, observes Ekta Diwas

Agartala, Oct 31 (UNI) Tripura joined the nationwide observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas today, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the Iron Man of India. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, along with the Minister of Fisheries, Sudhangsu Das, inaugurated the state-level programme at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the morning, recalling the contribution of Patel in reshaping India after independence. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted Patel's life, contributions and enduring legacy.
