Manipur CM launches cleanliness campaign, urges citizens to make hygiene 'sustained practice'

Imphal, Sep 17 (UNI) Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday launched the "Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026" campaign and the "Clean Himalayan Hill Cities Initiative (CHHCI)", Manipur, at the CM Secretariat in Imphal. The SHS 2026 campaign, being observed from September 17 to October 2 under the theme "Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat," will focus on five key pillars: transformation of Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) and clean public places; Swachh Paathshala-Yuva for Swachhata; Safai Mitra Suraksha Evam Samman Shivir; Jan Bhagidari for Swachhata; and Swachhata Se Samriddhi.
