Odisha student outfit seeks minister's ouster, calls Sept 30 bandh

Bhubaneswar, Sep 28 (UNI) The Naba Nirman Yuva Chhatra Sangathan, a student outfit, has demanded the resignation of School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond over glaring factual errors in school textbooks and called a 12-hour Odisha bandh on September 30. The organisation claimed that textbooks for Classes 1 to 8 published by the State School and Mass Education Department contain 1,678 factual errors, alleging that the lapses go beyond printing mistakes.
