Durga Puja: Soren urges eco-friendly immersion, anti-drug awareness

Ranchi, Oct 6 (UNI) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday urged Durga Puja committees in Ranchi to adopt an environment-friendly system for idol immersion and promote anti-drug awareness during the festival. Soren made the appeal during a meeting with a joint delegation of the Ranchi District Durga Puja Committee, Ranchi Mahanagar Durga Puja Committee and various peace committees at his residence here.
