Sikkim: NH-10 hit by landslide, vehicle trapped at 20th Mile

Gangtok, Sep 17 (UNI) Incessant rain continued to disrupt road connectivity across Sikkim on Thursday, with landslides, mudslides, water accumulation and unstable road conditions reported at several locations, prompting authorities to issue safety advisories for motorists and travellers. At 20th Mile in Bardang along NH-10, a car travelling from Singtam towards Rangpo reportedly got stuck on the landslide-affected stretch at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday as the road remained soft and cracked amid continued rainfall.
