Most rivers still above danger mark despite signs of improvement

Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) The flood situation in Bihar showed signs of improvement on Wednesday, with water levels receding at most locations, although several major rivers continued to flow above the danger mark at various gauge sites. According to a report issued by the Water Resources Department, the Ganga, Gandak, Kosi, Bagmati, Burhi Gandak and Punpun rivers remained above the danger level at several locations.
