Mizoram launches third phase of flagship Handholding scheme

Aizawl, Sep 18 (UNI) Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Friday launched third phase of the state government's flagship Bana Kaih (Handholding) scheme, which provides financial support, subsidised loans and project assistance to farmers, entrepreneurs and other beneficiaries. Launching Handholding 3.0 in Aizawl, Lalduhoma said the scheme was helping fulfil government commitments on agricultural procurement, interest-free loans through 100% interest subvention and government-backed bank guarantees.
