River interlinking, Vajpayee's dream project, becoming a reality under PM Modi: Samrat

Sheohar, Jul 19 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Sunday inaugurated the Belwa-l-Minapur Link Channel (Belwadhar) under the Bagmati-Burhi Gandak River Interlinking Project, describing it as the fulfilment of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's vision of river interlinking and a major step towards integrated water resource management in the state. The 68.80-kilometre-long link channel, constructed at a cost of Rs 130.88 crore, was inaugurated at Belwa in Piprahi block of Sheohar district.
