Jharkhand: Gorkha personnel hold traditional Phulpati procession in Ranchi

Ranchi, Oct 17 (UNI) Gorkha personnel and their families participated in the traditional Phulpati procession at the Jharkhand Armed Police-1 (JAP-1) campus in Doranda, Ranchi, on Saturday, marking Maha Saptami of Sharadiya Navratri. The procession featured traditional attire, folk songs and dances, reflecting the religious practices and cultural heritage of the Gorkha community. Personnel also offered a ceremonial salute to Goddess Durga through firing, following the established tradition.
