Bengal: 25 tonnes of suspected fake Super XT 600 TMT bars seized in Purulia

Purulia, Sep 27 (UNI) The West Bengal District Enforcement Branch (DEB) and local police have seized 25 tonnes of suspected counterfeit Super XT 600 TMT bars from a manufacturing plant in Purulia district. Following the raid, a criminal case was registered against Amit Kumar Tulsian, Manish Kumar Aggarwal and Anirudh Rakshit, directors and additional director of Purulia Ispat Alloy Pvt Ltd. Acting on a specific tip-off, Nituria police conducted a late-night raid on Friday at the Purulia Ispat Alloy Pvt Ltd factory in the Saltore area.
