Bengal: Three arrested after TMC office vandalised in Suri in Anubrata Mondal's presence

Suri, Sep 30 (UNI) Three youths were arrested on Wednesday after a Trinamool Congress (TMC) party office near the Suri old bus stand was vandalised in the presence of the party's Birbhum district president Anubrata Mondal. The incident took place when Mondal visited the party office for the first time since the declaration of election results to hold a closed-door meeting with local party leaders. According to eyewitnesses, three youths, their faces covered and carrying thick tree branches and sticks, entered the air-conditioned office and allegedly began vandalising the premises.
