Three held for running 'professional bailor' racket in Odisha courts

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6 (UNI) Berhampur Police have arrested three persons for allegedly running an organised racket of professional bailors who repeatedly used the same land records to furnish bail sureties in multiple criminal cases before courts in the District Court Complex. The racket came to light during an investigation into the alleged systematic misuse of land Records of Rights (RoRs), including suspected forged documents, to secure the release of accused persons from judicial custody.
