Mizoram police seize narcotics worth Rs 228 crore in Saitual district

Aizawl, Sep 16 (UNI) Police in Mizoram's Saitual district have seized narcotic drugs estimated at Rs 228.19 crore in the international market since January, with more than 250 kg of methamphetamine accounting for nearly two-thirds of the total value, officials said on Wednesday. The seizures include 252.565 kg of methamphetamine valued at around Rs 149.63 crore and 14.663 kg of heroin estimated at more than Rs 45 crore.
