Jharkhand: CISF steps up action against illegal coal mining, theft

Ranchi, Sep 21 (UNI) The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is set to step up surveillance and action against illegal coal mining, theft and transportation in Jharkhand under a zero coal leakage policy. The strategy will focus on monitoring activities ranging from illegal mining and coal theft to unauthorised transportation, with trained dog squads to assist surveillance in sensitive coalfields, forest areas and other suspected locations.
