Sikkim: Disaster mock drill conducted at Lachung amid concerns over natural calamities

Gangtok, Oct 13 (UNI) A disaster management mock drill was conducted at a hotel in Lachung, North Sikkim, to assess the preparedness of emergency response agencies in a region vulnerable to natural calamities and other disasters. The exercise, held at a hotel on Monday under the supervision of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Chungthang, Arun Chettri, aimed to strengthen coordination among different agencies and assess their ability to respond promptly during emergencies.
