Census 2027 to begin in Jharkhand on Jan 25

Ranchi, Oct 31 (UNI) The population census in Jharkhand will be conducted from January 25 to February 28, 2027, under a schedule notified by the Centre. The self-enumeration facility will be available from January 10 to 24, 2027, before the commencement of population enumeration, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on October 30. The revisional round of the census will be conducted from March 1 to 5, 2027. The reference date for the exercise will be 00:00 hours on March 1, 2027.
