Arunachal Cabinet clears new posts for women helpline, food safety

Itanagar, Oct 11 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet has approved a series of measures to strengthen technical education, improve public healthcare and expand assistance for women in distress, including the creation of 25 posts for the Women Helpline-181 scheme and food-safety enforcement. The Cabinet approved 20 posts to operationalise the Women Helpline-181 under Mission Shakti. The toll-free, round-the-clock service will provide emergency assistance to women in distress and connect them with medical care, shelter, legal aid and counselling.
