NEC assures to address challenges faced by Nagaland coffee growers

Dimapur, Oct 3 (UNI) North Eastern Council (NEC) secretary Satinder Kumar Bhalla assured the coffee farmers of Nagaland that possibilities for water harvesting, mechanisation, new technologies and appropriate equipment would be examined to address the challenges faced by coffee growers. He also stressed that the local administration should engage with leading industrial houses, investors and exporters who could potentially support mechanisation and automation in the coffee sector through appropriate financial and institutional arrangements.
