Ram Kripal assures transparency in paddy procurement

Patna, Nov 1 (UNI) Bihar Cooperative Minister Ram Kripal Yadav assured to maintain transparency in the paddy procurement process saying that the officials and employees concerned would be held accountable for any irregularities or negligence. According to Yadav, 2,385 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and trade mandals so far have been selected as procurement centres to procure paddy, which began today in districts of North Bihar. All necessary preparations have been completed at these centres. Farmers will be able to sell their paddy at these centres and receive the benefit of the Minimum Support Price (MSP) fixed by the government.…
