Bihar: Congress marches against CEC Gyanesh Kumar, demands his resignation

Patna, Oct 8 (UNI) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Rajesh Ram today demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, asserting that public confidence in democracy and the electoral process could not be restored without his removal. The Bihar Congress organised a protest march in the state capital under the slogan "Gyanesh Bhagao, Loktantra Bachao" (Remove Gyanesh, Save Democracy), with thousands of party workers participating in the march from the Shaheed Smarak to Raj Bhavan.
