Odisha Revenue Board orders restoration of 1.5 acres of Amrut Manohi land to Lord Jagannath

Bhubaneswar, Oct 1 (UNI) The Odisha Revenue Board has ordered restoration of around 1.5 acres of valuable Amrut Manohi land near Gundicha Temple in Puri in the name of Lord Jagannath, after finding that subsequent private records and sale deeds could not override the original temple land records. The Revenue Board passed the order in two cases involving the land in Talabania mouza of Puri, which was originally recorded in the name of Lord Jagannath as Amrut Manohi land in the 1889 Sabik record.
