Odisha steps up crackdown on illegal drug trade, special drive from Oct 10 to 31

Bhubaneswar, Oct 8 (UNI) Odisha government will intensify its crackdown on illegal drug trade by launching a special enforcement drive across the state from October 10 to 31, with district-level action to be guided by intelligence inputs. Chairing a virtual meeting with Excise Superintendents of all districts, Excise Minister Prithviraj Harichandan directed officials to step up enforcement against illegal intoxicants and narcotic substances and work in close coordination with the police and district administration wherever required.
