Odisha Revenue Dept orders statewide review of government land allotments

Bhubaneswar, Sep 28 (UNI) The Odisha government has ordered a comprehensive, time-bound statewide review of government land allotted or transferred for developmental and public welfare projects but either lying unused or being used for purposes other than those sanctioned. Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee, has directed all Collectors to identify such parcels and initiate action for their resumption, revesting or relinquishment, as applicable under law.
