Bihar revenue secretary directs COs to take proactive steps for correction of land records

Patna, Sep 17 (UNI) Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department Secretary Jai Singh Thursday directed Circle Officers (COs) to take proactive steps for correction of errors in land records and not wait for applications from landholders (raiyats). A review meeting chaired by Singh was held at the Revenue Survey Training Institute here to assess the functioning of Circle Officers in Saran, Supaul, and West Champaran districts.
