AI policy will attract technology investment in Bihar

Patna, Nov 1 (UNI) The new Artificial Intelligence Policy 2026 of Bihar is all set to position the state as a centre for AI-driven governance, innovation and digital economic activity. Official sources said here on Sunday that the policy would encourage artificial intelligence companies, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), startups and digital enterprises to establish operations in Bihar. The policy envisages a range of financial incentives, including capital investment subsidies, interest subsidies, support for cloud and computing facilities, lease rental subsidies, electricity duty concessions, employment-generation subsidies and reimbursement of State Goods and Services Tax (SGST).
