Jharkhand: Two workers die after gas leak at Bokaro steel plant

Bokaro, Oct 11 (UNI) Two workers died after allegedly being exposed to toxic gas at Vedanta's ESL Steel Limited plant in Bokaro district on Sunday, triggering protests by their family members, who alleged lapses in workplace safety and emergency medical arrangements. The deceased were identified as Sohan Mahto, a resident of Hazaribagh, and Sameer Ansari, from Dhanbad. According to the company, one was its employee and the other worked for a business partner.
