Bihar CM announces Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia for victims of Vaishali boat tragedy

Patna, Oct 13 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary expressed deep grief tonight over the loss of lives in a boat tragedy in Raghopur area of Vaishali district and announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased. The chief minister described the deaths, including those of children, as deeply distressing and heartbreaking.
