EAM Jaishankar to visit Singapore and China

New Delhi, July 12 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be on a visit to Singapore and China from July 13-15.
In Singapore, EAM will meet his counterpart and the leadership of Singapore as part of the regular exchanges between our two countries, a statement said.
Thereafter, EAM will visit the People’s Republic of China to participate in the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (CFM) being held in Tianjin.

Delhi air quality remains ‘severe’ as fog, cold conditions persist

New Delhi, Jan 18 (UNI) Delhi continued to grapple with severe air pollution on Sunday, with the city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 439 at 7 am, firmly in the ‘severe’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The situation had already worsened late Saturday night, when the AQI stood at 432 around 10 pm, before deteriorating further by Sunday morning.
