EAM Jaishankar meets Ukrainian FM, German Def Min, Bavarian leader in Munich

Munich/New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is in Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference, met the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, the German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, and the Bavarian Minister-President Markus Soeder on the sidelines.
In a post on X, the EAM spoke about his meeting with the Ukrainian FM Sybiha.
“Good to meet FM @andrii_sybiha of Ukraine on sidelines of #MSC2025 today.
“Discussed ongoing efforts towards resolution of the Ukraine conflict.
“Also spoke about further advancement of our bilateral cooperation.”
The Ukrainian FM Andrii Sybiha in a post said:
“I thank @DrSJaishankar for our meaningful meeting.
“We are interested in developing relations with India and advancing cooperation in trade, technology, agriculture, security, and other areas.
“We also rely on India’s strong global voice to bring a just and lasting peace closer.”
The EAM, on his meeting with the Bavarian leader said:
“Delighted to meet Minister - President @Markus_Soeder of Bavaria again in Munich today.
“Discussed our economic and technology cooperation. Exchanged views about the international situation.
“Look forward to welcoming him to India.”
On his meeting with the German Defence Minister, he posted:
“Pleased to meet Defence Minister Boris Pistorius of Germany.
“Our talk revolved around bilateral cooperation and the Ukraine development.”
The EAM also participated in discussions in the Munich Security Conference.
“Participated in the @AnantaAspen Session at MSC 2025. Theme was ‘Coming of Age: Evaluating Rising India’s Security Challenges’
“Shared India’s thinking on global engagement, regional strategy and key bilateral partnerships.”
