Dushyant Chautala to move High Court if FIR is not filed against CIA Officer

Chandigarh, April 18 (UNI) Former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala has threatened to approach the Punjab and Haryana High Court if an FIR is not registered against the CIA in-charge Inspector Pawan Kumar by Monday.
Chautala alleged that the inspector intercepted his convoy in Hisar and threatened him with a weapon. He further claimed that the state DGP failed to respond to his calls regarding the incident.
The controversy arose following the arrest of JJP leaders in connection with a protest at Guru Jambheshwar University on April 16; all six have since been granted bail. In response to Chautala’s accusations, Inspector Pawan Kumar has filed a counter-complaint, alleging that Chautala's driver drove recklessly and that Digvijay Chautala assaulted a constable.
