Dumri sports city to be developed at Rs 574 Cr on 100 acres land

Patna, Jun 11 (UNI) Bihar Sports Minister Shreyasi Singh Thursday said that the ambitious Dumri Sports City will be developed over 100 acres, at an expenditure of Rs 574 crore.
Chairing a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of major sports infrastructure projects, athlete development initiatives, and the long-term sports development roadmap for Bihar, Singh said that Dumri Sports City would emerge as a landmark project for Bihar and would create opportunities for future expansion in sports infrastructure, sports-based economic activities, training facilities, and allied sectors.
The proposal has already been forwarded to the District Magistrate and District Land Acquisition Officer, Patna, she informed.
