Duckett rewrites Lord's ODI history with record-breaking 141

London, July 19 (UNI) Ben Duckett produced one of the greatest one-day innings witnessed at the Home of Cricket on Sunday, hammering a sublime 141 to rewrite several long-standing records at Lord's and power England to a commanding victory over India in the third and deciding ODI.
The left-handed opener not only anchored England's chase with authority but also became the first batsman to eclipse the long-standing benchmark set by West Indies great Viv Richards, whose unbeaten 138 in the 1979 World Cup final had stood as the highest individual ODI score at Lord's for nearly five decades.
Duckett's 141 is now the highest individual ODI score at the iconic venue, while also moving ahead of Denis Amiss' 137 against India in 1975, Marcus Trescothick's 137 against Pakistan in 2001 and Graham Gooch's 136 against Australia in 1989.
