DRI seizes Rs 13.3 cr worth Hydroponic Ganja at Hyd Airport

Hyderabad, Aug 12 (UNI) The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 13.3 kg of hydroponic ganja worth about Rs 13.3 crore from an Indian woman who arrived from Bangkok at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here.

Acting on specific intelligence, officers from the Hyderabad Zonal Unit intercepted the passenger and searched her check-in baggage on Monday, which yielded 20 packets containing a greenish lumpy substance. Field tests confirmed it as hydroponic cannabis, a DRI statement said on Tuesday.
